Design for Gleeson Contractors

SeaWaves is pleased to announce the final design and launch of the Gleeson Contractors website. Gleeson is a top notch building contractor working in South Jersey and specializing in beach and shore homes.

Gleeson came to us looking to both redesign and expand their previous website. We worked closely with Gleeson to ensure an expedited work process, and managed to complete their site in only 2 weeks. Gleeson was especially excited to showcase their excellent building projects and to attract new customers.

To that end, we created several picture galleries highlighting the custom work they do with single family homes, custom duplexes and commercial properties. They also allow prospective customers to request a full color brochure.

If you’re thinking of building a custom home at the Jersey Shore, be sure to check out Gleeson Contractors who have over 30 years of home building experience in a wide variety of places such as Sea Isle City, Ocean City, Avalon, Wildwood, Dennis Township, Marmora, and other locations in Southern N.J.

SeaWaves Finishes Design for Freelance Writer

SeaWaves Technology is pleased to announce that it has finished the design for the internet presence of writer Margaret Gelbwasser. Margie has been a pleasure to work with and she has worked closely with us as we’ve fined tuned the layout, design and functionality of her site to fit her needs as a freelance writer looking to network with other writers.

Margie has written for a variety of magazines including Ladies’ Home Journal, Self, Girls’ Life, New Jersey Monthly, and others. She has also successfully completed her first novel (congratulations!)

We truly enjoyed teaming up on Margie’s website and really like the fresh, eclectic and original design that we ended up with. Be sure to check out her blog for fresh insight and commentary on the writing life, read a sampling of her work, and make sure to edify yourself with her latest tips for writers.

Margie also offers a variety of writing services including consultation, workshops and freelance projects.

How I Work: Bill Gates

Quote - “I get about 100 e-mails a day. We apply filtering to keep it to that level- e-mail comes straight to me from anyone I’ve ever corresponded with, anyone from Microsoft, Intel, HP etc. And I always see a write-up from my assistant of any other e-mail, from companies that aren’t on my permission list or individuals I don’t know.”

Boy do I wish I could have an assistant who filtered through all my emails each day. But honestly, even with an assistant, I’m surprised that Gates only get 100 emails a day. That seems really low for the richest man in the world, doesn’t it.

In the article, Gates also mentions that he has to avoid the temptation of reading his email every time Outlook tells him there is a new message. Boy can I relate. If I wasn’t careful, email could take up my whole day.
