Jobs and Resume Writing

We’ve recently hired several employees at SeaWaves, and perhaps the single biggest differentiating factor has been the resume that was sent. When we are sifting through job applicants, we are looking for cream of the crop applicants. Normally, we only hire candidates who “wow” us with their previous work.

When you are putting together a resume, you should think to yourself “How can I stand out? How can I make myself look so perfect for the job that the employer has no choice but to hire me?”

In our opinion, that’s the most important question to think about while putting together your resume.

The Dog Guide Hires Professional Site Editors

SeaWaves is pleased to announce that we’ve hired two lead editors for The Dog Guide. Both Claire and Dan work for Philapets, one of the most well-established pet care companies in Philadelphia. As dog professionals, they bring expert knowledge and experience to the massive project that SeaWaves has undertaken in creating one of the premier dog sites on the internet.

We are extremely happy to have Claire and Dan on board and can’t wait to see how the Dog Guide develops over the next few years.

SeaWaves Looking for Writers/Editors

SeaWaves is currently in a large expansion phase and we’re looking for proposals from writers/editors who would like to start and run a website and get paid for doing so. Writers/editors whose proposals are accepted will be paid $100/month plus 25% profit share.

Proposals should be brief and to the point. We’re looking to hire people who are passionate about 1) writing and 2) a particular subject area. Ideal candidates will be experts on the proposed topic.

Proposals should be made through our contact form (no URLs please, as our spam filter doesn’t let them pass through).
