What exactly is this all about?
It's about providing wireless internet service (WiFi) in as many South Jersey
Shore locations as possible. It's about getting your business extra customers
and extra recognition

being a part of our drive to unwire the South Jersey Shore.
What areas do you serve?
Our current aim is to unwire the South Jersey shore
and other South Jersey locations. However, if you are in the greater Philadelphia
metro region, we'd
be glad to work with you.
How long does the installation take?
So long as your business has a high-speed, wired internet connection, a normal
installation should take no more than 30 minutes.
How much area will the the wireless internet cover?
The typical range inside a typical building is about 100 feet. It will
go through wood beam floors and standard drywall walls. Concrete and steel
cut
the range
significantly. The higher we can place the equipment, the better coverage
you'll get.
What if my location is particularly large? What can I do?
We have fancy, "Big range" equipment too. Let us know the specs
of the area you want to cover, and we'll put together a custom solution
for you. We can do marinas, common recreational areas, golf courses and
most other large premises.
What about security?
We offer a level of security that you don't get from consumer grade wireless
systems purchased at BestBuy and CompUSA. We can also restrict the access
point so that
your internal network is off limits and users can only access the Internet.
That means it's no easier to
hack your
network from your wireless hotspot than it is from the library. Keep
in mind, most wireless
equipment can't make that claim.
How big is the equipment that is used?
4.375" wide by 5.5" high by 1.125" deep, or roughly the
size of 2 CD jewel cases.
What do I need on my end?
You need internet access and you also
need a standard power outlet within 6 feet of the where the equipment will
be located. That's it!
Is there a contract to sign?
The contract is for 12 or 24 months, with payments made monthly.
What's in it for you, the business owner?
It means you'll have a secure wireless network. No more reasons to run cables.
You'll also get a level of security that you can't get from consumer grade
wireless systems purchased at BestBuy and CompUSA. It means you can draw in
additional business, if you want, just by offering customers a place to get

and maintain your system for only $19.99 a month (with a 2 year contract)..
Can’t I just do this myself?
Sure, or at least something with less features, less security and less
support. But, the benefit of being a SeaWaves customer are numerous.
You receive higher quality security. You are part of a community

location will be listed on our web site and submitted to Wi-Fi sites
so that people can find you. You may be mentioned in press articles about
the initiative.
